This was the final senior project for my Bachelor's of Fine Arts, BFA, at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, UNCC. The design and concept of this sci-fi cargo ship, the Treston, was inspired from a fascination with franchises like Alien, Star Wars, and Star Trek, and video games like Halo and Star Citizen. I drew a grungy, worn, lived-in aesthetic from these sources to render this ship. I also 3D printed a 20 inch model of the Treston.

This was the final assignment for an upper-level comics class. The assignment was following a script provided by the instructor, and intentionally provided vague detail and challenges to work around or to overcome. The final two-page comic sets up the expectation of a interpersonal story and is subverted by an apocalyptic-set wide-shot of a gym building walking through the desert.

This was a full-book commission to illustrate 49 parables and short lessons for a children's book. The design was simplified and straightforward. Healthy communication and ideating between the creators of the book and myself helped final illustrations that communicated the lessons on each page faithfully.
